Biography

Margot Freitag is a Functional Nutritionist and Lifestyle Practitioner. She is a mindset coach and a Personal Trainer specializing in women’s weight loss, functional fitness and remedial exercise in medical treatment. She facilitates leadership and personal development training along with her horses with Equine Assisted Learning. In her early career, Margot was a Massage Therapist specializing in soft tissue and joint rehabilitation. She also worked as an actor and later a high school teacher.

Following her own health recovery and through her career, Margot has helped 1,000’s of clients, world-wide achieve permanent weight loss, hormonal balance and vibrant health, through her program the Body Balance Code. Her coaching is rooted in personal leadership and behavioural change, with a “Blue Zones” plant-centered approach to nutrition.

Margot recently published a children’s cookbook, “Plant-Powered Punks”, to show children and their families that healthier food can be delicious while supporting their health and well-being. The book and accompanying available resources serve as opportunities for parents, teachers and kids to have fun creating delicious, healthy recipes, together.

Margot is a published author and speaker. She has been featured on several summits and podcasts and is also the creator and host of several online
summits. She has spoken on stages addressing women’s health, children’s health & the obesity epidemic in youth, women in business and
entrepreneurship.

Margot advocates for wild mustangs and incorporates her own horses in her leadership and personal development workshops, using principles from natural horsemanship training and equine facilitated learning.

She lives in Ontario, Canada on an acreage with her husband, son and daughter, her horses, and a big dog
named Drake.
